RESOLUTION 08-018
APPROVAL OF CITY MANAGER'S ATTENDANCE OF THE INTERNATIONAL CITY
MANAGER'S ASSOCIATION (ICMA) CONFERENCE IN RICHMOND,VA
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Manager is an active member of the International City
Manager's Association,which is an education and professional association
whose mission is to create excellence in local governance by developing and
fostering professional local government management;and
WHEREAS, the ICMA holds an annual conference for the purpose of supporting their
educational goals and providing an opportunity to meet and network with other
local government professionals; and
WHEREAS, the 2008 ICMA Annual Conference is scheduled for September 20, 2008 through
September 24,2008 in Richmond, VA;and
® WHEREAS, the City Manager is requesting approval of his attendance of the ICMA Annual
Conference with the City of St. Anthony absorbing all costs related to this trip.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does hereby
approves the City Manager's attendance of the International City Manager's
Association(ICMA) Conference in Richmond, VA
