CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE
RESOLUTION NO. 08-021
APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE ST. ANTHONY/NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL DISTRICT
FOR THE UPCOMING 2007 ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony (the "City") and the St. Anthony/New Brighton
Independent School District No. 282 (ISD #282), desire to perform their
elections in odd numbered years; and
WHEREAS, ISD #282 has approved having a Special Election in 2008; and
WHEREAS, the MN State Statute 205A.05 indicates that the election officials for a
special election are the same as for the most recent school district general
election unless changed according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1) the City Clerk will conduct all duties associated with the ISD #282 Special
Election; and
2) All documents relating to this election will be reviewed by the School District's
Secretary before publication.
3) The School District #282 will be responsible for all costs relating to this special
election.
Passed and adopted this 11th day of March, 2008.
