RESOLUTION 09-024
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING ST.ANTHONY VILLAGE
WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has revised and prepared a second generation Water
Resource Management Plan in conformance with Minnesota Rules Chapter 8410,
WHEREAS, the City of St.Anthony Village Water Resource Management Plan will be used to
meet the surface water requirements of the regulatory agencies,
WHEREAS, the plan was submitted to Metropolitan Council, Rice Creek Watershed District,
Mississippi Watershed Management Organization,and adjacent communities,and
Counties of Ramsey and Hennepin, for their review and comment,
WHEREAS, comments were received and the plan revised,
WHEREAS, the Water Resource Management Plan has been found to be consistent with the
Metropolitan Council's Water Resource Management Policy Plan,
• WHEREAS, the Water Resource Management Plan has been approved by the Rice Creek
Watershed District and Mississippi Watershed Management Organization,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that
the Water Resource Management Plan is accepted and adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that the City of
St. Anthony Village will begin implementation of the measures outlined within the Water
Resource Management Plan.
