A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE MINNESOTA
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY/OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY FOR THE ST.
ANTHONY POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Police Department applied for a grant from
the Minnesota Department of Public Safety/Office of Traffic Safety
for in-car cameras for the squad cars; and
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony Police Department received the grant in the
amount of$47,000; and
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony Police Department will need to contribute $13,000
to the purchase of the in-car camera equipment; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of these in-car cameras will be a great asset to the St.
Anthony Police Department and to all cities served by the them
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony City Council
approves Resolution 10-068; Accepting a Grant from the Minnesota Department of
Public Safety/Office of Traffic Safety for the St. Anthony Police Department
Adopted this 26th day of October, 2010.
