A RESOLUTION SETTING THE SEWER RATES,THE WATER RATES AND THE
CHARGES FOR STORM WATER FACILITIES FOR THE
2012 UTILITY BILLING CYCLE
WHEREAS, changes to the Sewer Rates, Water Rates and Charges for Storm Water Facilities
have historically been approved by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the last increase for the minimum Sewer Rate was 2007, Water Rate was 2007
and Charges for Storm Water Facilities was 1998; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony passed Ordinance 2012-004 allowing
the Sewer Rates, Water Rates and Charges for Storm Water Facilities to be
increased by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Rate will be increased to $3.70; and
WHEREAS, the Water Rates will increase to the following according to their tier:

Tier I 0 - 7,500 $2.67 per 1,000 gallons
Tier II 7,500- 15,000 $2.80 per 1,000 gallons
Tier III 15,000-22,500 $3.08 per 1,000 gallons
Tier IV 22,500- 30,000 $3.54 per 1,000 gallons
Tier V Over 30,000 $4.43 per 1,000 gallons

WHEREAS, Rates for Storm Water Facilities will increase according to their classification:

6 $203.25 per acre
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,the City Council of the City of St. Anthony approves
setting the Sewer Rates, Water Rates and Storm Water Facilities Rates for the 2012 Utility
Billing Cycle.
Adopted this 10th day April, 2012.
