RESOLUTION 12-082
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE ST. ANTHONY-
NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL DISTRICT #282 COMMUNITY SERVICES
RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE YEARS 2013 AND 2014
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony recognizes that the St. Anthony-New
Brighton School District#282 Community Services provide a variety of
recreational opportunities and senior citizen activities to community residents;
and
WHEREAS, due to changes enacted by the Minnesota State Legislature, St. Anthony-New
Brighton School District#282 is no longer allowed to levy $52,175 for the cost of
operating Community Services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council supports recreational opportunities and senior citizen activities
for residents of the community and would like the St. Anthony-New Brighton
School District#282 to continue providing these services to St. Anthony
residents.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
Village hereby authorizes continued support of the St. Anthony-New Brighton
School District#282 Community Services Recreational Programs for the years
2013 and 2014.
