a. Wetlands Ordinance: The Council was furnished copies of the ordinance
for review, revision, etc. At the last Council meeting it was decided that
a second reading would be given the ordinance and then contact would be
made with Columbia Heights and New Brighton regarding their adopting a
similar ordinance.
ACTION: Recommend 2nd reading.
b. Sign Ordinance. The City Manager will be prepaxed to discuss problems
we are having with administering the ordinance and possible solutions to
those problems.

8. New Business
a. Monroe Hall Fire Chief regarding fire equipment. A few weeks ago Wm.
Sauer and Donna Stauffer and myself met with Chief Hall to discuss the
need for new fire equipment. For the council's information we would like
to rehash that discussion and discuss some policy questions such as
height of future buildings, fire code enforcement, etc. that will affect
the type of equipment the City will need in the future.

b. Presentation by VFW to St. Anthony Police Department. Members of the
St. Anthony VFW have asked to be allowed to make a presentation to Chief
Brown for the Police Department.
