a. Ordinance 1974-003-An Ordinance Relating to the Reimbursement of
Employees for Use of Their Personal Automobiles: Amending Sub. 1 of Section
135:87 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances. Larry has prepared the attached
ordinance but left the amount per mile for the Council to determine.1 would
recommend that we pay at least 12 cents per mile and feel there is probably
justification for paying even more based on the latest operating cost
reports.
ACTION: Establ-joh;)amort per mile, approve 1st reading.

a. Award water press-are project bids. . .Ice will present tabulation as bids
won't be opened until noon 3- 26-74.
9. Communications & Petitions
a. St. Paul Assoc. for Eetarded Citizens. Last year we participated in the
day camping program for St. Anthony residents. All reports I receive are
very favorable.
ACTION: Council
b. Metro Transit Commission-Regarding route changes. Mrs. Haik requested
that I contact MTC again regarding service to the eastern portion of the
City. I received the attached response from the MTC.
ACTION: Recommend we urge them to make proposed change as soon as possible.
c. Larry Vickrey regarding Northdale Construction. Larry will discuss with
Council.
• ACTION: Recommend approval.

d. Rod Hopp Shows Inc.-There have been no serious problems with the Rod
Hopp Show in the past. They have cleaned up very well in the past.
ACTION: Recommend we grant permission but require that they have security
personnel on the site during evening hours.
e. U of M regarding energy conservation project.

f. Hennepin County regarding General Assistance Act of 1973-Informational
