a. Resolution 74-027 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR PAVING,
CURB AND GUTTER PROJECT IMPROVEMENT 1973-1. Resolution must be
adopted so we can certify assessments to County for collection. I
would recommend we set the interest rate at 8% and spread the
assessment for no more than 5 years.
b. Resolution 74-028 RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STORM
SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1972-1. Resolution must be adopted so
we can certify the assessment to the County for collection. I would
recommend we set the interest rate at 7% on above and spread the
assessment for 10 years.
• c. Resolution 74-029 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1975 BUDGET. Resolution
must be adopted so we can certify budget to County for collection.
The levy figure is not included because we haven't received the 280
forms from the State but I will have an estimate on the final figure
for you.
d, Resolution 74-030 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 68-040 A RESOLUTION
ESTABLISHING A HUMAN REIATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE. The only change
in the resolution is the deletion of the word voting_ in Section 3
next to last sentance.
ACTION: Recommend approval so student members of committee will be
entitled to remain as members.
8. New Business
a. YMCA Xmas Tree Lot. The YMCA has sold trees for several years and we
have had few problems.
ACTION: Recommend approval
b. Election Judges. Carol Johnson, City Clerk recommends 4g6intment
of the attached list of election judges for the general election 11/5/74.
ACTION: Recommend approval
toc. Paul C. Broberg re: Xmas Tree Sales Lot in Wards Garden Center at
Apache Plaza. There has been a sales lot at Apache for the past two
years and few problems have been detected except thefts and moving into
Ward fenced in area should help stop this.
ACTION: Recommend approval.

9. Communications/Petitions
a. Carol Brown/Fredrick-Herfurth Realty. I believe Mrs. Brown wants to
appear regarding her letter delivered to the Council this week and her
pending application for a conditional use permit.
ACTION: Council
10. Reports
a. Bob Johnson/Geri Evans of Community Services Advisory Committee re:
slide presentation. Committee members requested they be on agenda after
8:30 for their presentation.
b. Tntiestment Report-Report is attached for your review.

12. Payments
a. North Suburban Day Activity Center $659.40. Bill is for services
rendered to resi&ents of tit. Anthony.
ACTION: Recommend approval.
b. Sub. Public Health Nursing Service $21685.54. Due to our severe
budget pinch I recommend we table this and consider strongly that we drop
out of the service.
c. Dorsey Firm $2,106.54-Bill has been verified.
ACTION: Recommend approval.
d. Constructive Design $414.00
ACTION: Recommend approval.
