a. Resolution #75-034. We budgeted $25,000 for this years general fund
budget from revenue sharing. We need to adopt this resolution to transfer
the money to the general fund.
ACTION: Recommend approval

8. New Business
a. Discussion of replacing boulevard trees lost to disease, etc. We have
approximately $1500 in the budget this year for tree replacement. We have
® lost a few boulevard trees but I question whether we replace any boulevard
trees unless it is the ones on St. Anthony Boulevard. We could either use
the money to replace boulevard trees, plant trees in the parks and on other
property we own or buy trees and give them to the residents to plant where-
ever they wish.
ACTION: Council
b. Rules & Regulations for Police Department. The rules and regulations
you find enclosed have been prepared by myself, the police chief and members
of the department as a general guide for the officers to use in their
performance of duty and general conduct. We would like the Council to
approve and adopt the rules and regulations so there will be no question
that they are properly instituted.
ACTION: Recommend adoption.
c. Request for increase in hourly salary by parttime firefighters. There
is a memo enclosed for your information.

9. Communications/Petitions
a. Letter from League of Minnesota Municipalities regarding Open Meeting
Law. Information from LMM attached.
ACTION: Recommend we take steps as suggested.

b. Letter-Metro Transit regarding change in bus route.
ACTION: Recommend approval.
c. County of Ramsey regarding Silver Lake Road agreements.
ACTION: Recommend we approve signing subject to receiving signed agreement
from Gordon Hedlund.
10. Reports
10A. Reports by Mayor, Manager & Councilmen
a. Discussion regarding possible deficit in expenses for dance for
Bicentennial. I received a call from Robert Johnson, Chairman of the
committee sponsoring the Bicentennial dance indicating that there could be
a deficit if things don't go as intended with the dance. He indicated that
the committee needed some form of guarantee from the Council for that
situation.
ACTION: Council
