Ordinances/ Resolutions a. Ordinance 1975. 006 (AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE PERSONNEL ORDINANCE OF Tiff CITY OF ST. ANTHONY: AMENDING SECTION 135:39 SUBD. 1. ) The City Attorney has revised the original amendment slightly for clarification purposes. ACTION: Recommend waive readings and adopt. 7. Old Business a. Parkview Site Lease Agreement. Enclosed please find a proposed lease as Councilman Sauer and myself negotiated with School District ;282. • ACTION: Recommend approval with date of lease to be changed from August 1st to September 1st. In addition I hope to have a report from Constructive Design, architects, regarding the cost of and time needed for remodeling. b. T.A.P. 29. I have no information from T.A.P. 29 regarding their request to be on the agenda. Possibly Councilman Sauer and Stauffer do. c. Discussion of increase in salary for part-time firefighters. There are few departments who use sleepins extensively so its hard to acquire any comparisons. However, the departments that do use them generally pay less than $3.00 per hour but they have retirement programs. A good compromise might be to go to $2.50 per hour effective immediately and $3.00 per hour January 1, 1976. This would give us a chance to adjust the budget. ACTION: Council 8. New Business a. Certificate for St. Anthony High School Band for winning lst place in Aquatennial Parade. Mayor Miedtke will present the High School Band with a certificate. 9. Communications/Petitions a. Congressman Frazer to tour city on August 18th at 3:00 P.M. Informational b. Letter MTC regarding bus shelters. I have received several suggested locations from the Police Department and would appreciate anymore locations the Council might suggest. c. Letter-Mrs. John Durand regarding sewer adjustment. Attached is a letter from Mrs. Durand regarding her sewer bill. The adjustment she suggests would be from $19.76 to $13.30 or $6.46 per quarter. cc. Robert Johnson sewer bill. ACTION: Council d. Letter Metro Council regarding Public Hearing. Informational e. Hennepin County Public Works regarding solid rate. The attached is informational. Jim Fornell who attended a meeting in Hopkins regarding this proposal will answer questions, etc. Sometime in the future we may want to take a stand on this matter. 10. Reports a. Report by Larry Hamer regarding televising of sewer lines. Larry will give short demonstration regarding the sewer line TV work the Sewer Dept. has been doing. Informational. b. Letter from George M. Hansen Company regarding annual audit. I will be prepared to answer questions for the Council. In addition I should report that I have or will be talking to the necessary people to make the changes recommended. ACTION: File c.
