A. 8:00 p.m. Street Improvement Project 1979-001 (Highcrest Road) .
See agenda. To order the improvements, Resolution 79-020 would
have to be adopted.
ACTION: Reject, Approve or Table Resolution 79-020 .
7. Ordinances and Resolutions
• A. Ordinance 1979-001. An Ordinance Relating To City Personnel And
Establishing A Basic Personnel Policy, Repealing Section 135 Of The
1973 Code Of Ordinances . Memos from non-union employees and City
Manager are attached.
ACTION: Recommend making modifications, as desired, and
approve second reading.
B. Ordinance 1979-002 . An Ordinance Relating To Water Department
Regulations And Water Charges And Rates , Amending Portions Of
Sections 245 And 550 Of The 1973 Code Of Ordinances . "Superintend-
ent of Public Works" should be changed to "Public Works Director" ,
per the adopted job classification/salary administration program.
ACTION: Recommend adoption with change.
C. Resolution 79-018. A Resolution Requesting 1978-79 Local Planning
Assistance Grant Funds From The Metropolitan Council.
ACTION: Recommend approval .
D. Resolution 79-019 . A Resolution Approving The St. Anthony C.D.B.G.
Application, Year V. The application has been modified per the
P.A.C.A.C. committee. One alternative is specified.
ACTION: Recommend approval after Council decides on the
alternative.
. 8. Old Business
A. Well No. 3 Bid Award. Public Works Director Hamer is to be present
to discuss the bid award.
ACTION: Council.
B. Police Reserve. A copy of the proposed By-Laws is enclosed with
supplementary information.
ACTION: Council .
C. Chemical Dependency Committee. I read these minutes that the $500
was a one time grant. Does the Council wish to continue support?
ACTION: Council.
