• A. Ordinance 1979-006 . An Ordinance Relating to Parks ,
Restricting Fuel Used in Permitted Fires , and Per-
mitting the Use of Lighted Tennis Courts During the
Hours the Parks are Otherwise Closed. This was modi-
fied slightly to aid in controlling some of our park
problems .

B. Resolution 79-036 . A Resolution Relating to Budget
Transfer.

A. Continuation of Board of Review Meeting from May 30 .
ACTION: Review reappraisal of the Toth property
B. Liquor Operation. The Mayor suggested a discussion
of the recent hearing with the Council .

C. Cable Television Advisory Committee. The Council
will have to appoint five members . Interest has
been expressed by two residents . Memo and resumes
enclosed.

D. Water Line in Stinson Boulevard. Specifications
have been prepared and staff desires permission to
advertise for bids .

E. Public Meeting Regarding Anthony Lane (North)
Improvement Project. Memo enclosed.

A. L.M.C. National Convention. Reservations would be
in order soon.

• B. Hennepin County Assessor - Regarding assessment cost
for 1980 . I am quite pleased with the service and
cost. We will have to extend our present agreement
as the County Assessor told me our special bill did
not pass because it was tacked on to other bills
which had opposition.
ACTION: Recommend acknowl-edging and supporting
the prcposal
C. Request to paint house numbers on the curb. Non-profit
groups have done this in the past, I believe.

D. Letter from Eric Anderson, Attorney, regarding
Industrial Development Revenue Bonds . Letter from
Bill Soth attached.

meeting

COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
June 12 , 1979
The meeting was called to order at 6 : 32 p.m.
Present for roll call: Sally Haik, Bob Sundland, Clarence Ranallo
Absent: Dick Letourneau, Bill Sauer
Also present: Jim Fornell, City Manager
Larry Hamer, Public Works Director
Dennis Buratti, City Attorney (for William Soth)
Councilman Letourneau arrived at 6 :40 p.m.
The Council discussed the problems and alternatives associated with
the proposed improvement of the Anthony Lane (North) improvement
project in preparation for a public meeting scheduled at 8 : 30 p.m.
the same evening as part of the regular Council meeting.
Motion by Sundland, seconded by Letourneau to adjourn.
Motion carried.
. Meeting adjourned at 7 : 20 p.m.
