COUNCIL MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING 4/29/75
IDThe meeting was called to order at 9:00 P.M. by Mayor Miedtke.
Present at roll call: Miedtke, Haik, Sauer, Stauffer, Sundland.
The Council discussed the conditional use permit application of First American
Enterprises to construct a retirement home on the north 28 feet of the west
187 feet of Lot 13 and the west 187 feet of Lots 1+,15 and 16, Block 6, Mounds
View Acres, Second Addition.
Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to direct the
Planning Board to hold a public hearing on May 20, 1975 on a conditional use
permit application for a retirement home on the north 28 feet of the west 187
feet of Lot 13, and the west 187 feet of Lots 14, 15 and 16, Block 6, Mounds
View Acres, Second Addition.
The Council discussed the merits of concrete vs. bituminous walkway for the
proposed walkway on the west side of Silver Lake Road from 37th Avenue N.E.
to the entrance to the Salvation Army Camp. Questions on financing the improve-
ment were also raised.
Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Haik to adopt Resolution
1975-025.
RESOLUTION N6. 75-028
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
A SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT FOR THE CITY
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sundland to order the City
Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the sidewalk improvement
project.
Motion carried.
The Council discussed sewer bill adjustments and problems with water in the
basement.
Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adjourn.
Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
