RESOLUTION 94-021
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR A
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) BY
NORTHWEST YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES (NYFS)
WHEREAS, NYFS has provided essential developmental services for the youth and families of
the City of St. Anthony since 1976; and
WHEREAS, NYFS is finding more and more people in need of financial assistance in order to
make use of NYFS' mental health programs; and
WHEREAS, the unique partnership between NYFS and its ten Ramsey County member cities
has resulted in the ability to provide an essential community services that none of
the cities could provide individually; and
WHEREAS, NYFS is in need of assistance in purchasing a building in which to house these
essential community services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, that
the City of St. Anthony enthusiastically supports the award of a 1994 CDBG to NYFS.
