RESOLUTION 95-019
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY EQUITY
IMPLEMENTATION REPORT
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.9981 requires each political subdivision to submit to the
Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employee Relations (DOER) a pay
equity implementation report by January 31, 1995, that includes certain
information as of December 31, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has completed the pay equity implementation forms as
provided by DOER based on information as of December 31, 1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that
the pay equity implementation report is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the report authorizing
approval of it by the City Council.

PLEASE NOTE: The minimum and maximum monthly salaries for the job classes Firefighter and Fire Captain are being reported on the basis of a 40-hour work week as required by the
rule that regulates pay equity,Chapt.3920, Part 3920.0300,Subp. 5F.Salary. This figure is artificially low as these employees work a 56-hour week. They have an established hourly rate
which as required,must be afjusted by multiplying 173.3 by their minimum and maximum hourly rate. The actual minimum and maximum monthly salaries are$2,873 - $3.189 for firefighters
and maximum monthly salary of$3,331 for fire captain.

1995 Pay Equity Report

Department of Employee Relations as required by the Local Government Pay Equity
Act, Minnesota Statutes 471.991 to 471.999. The report must be submitted to the
department by January 31, 1995.
The report is public data under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act,
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13. That means that the report is available to anyone
• requesting this information.
This notice is being sent to all exclusive representatives (if any) in this jurisdiction. In
addition, this notice must remain posted in a prominent location for at least 90 days
from the date the report was submitted.
