RESOLUTION 96-026
A RESOLUTION APPROVING INSTALLATION OF
"NO PARKING AT ANY TIME" SIGNS
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition from affected residents requesting
"No Parking At Any Time" signs be placed on the east side of Penrod Lane
between Edgemere Avenue NE and 37th Avenue NE; and
WHEREAS, the area was observed by the City and it was determined that the City
concurs with the petitioners that the area is presently unsafe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St.
• Anthony hereby approves "No Parking At Any Time" signs to be installed in the area
stated above.

RE : Changing the East side of Penrod Lane from Edgemere to 37th
Avenue NE to a NO Parking Zone .
The area described above makes driveway ingress and egress very
difficult and dangerous . Three dirveways dump into this area as
well as vehicles turning off of 37th Ave onto Penrod and Penrod
traffic comming down a hill to 37th Avenue . This makes a small
area with poor visibility, on a hill, with many children, bicycles
and pedestrians,extremely narrow-especially durring the winter.
Often there are 2 or 3 vehicles parked there all day producing
dangerous conditions for general neighborhood traffic , children,
bicycles , other pedestrians , and residents trying to get into and
out of there driveways .
• It would be very helpful if this small stretch of the east side
of Penrod between Edgemere and 37th Ave . could be a no parking
area. It would cause very little inconvience to parkers to park
around the corner. It would make St . Anthony a safer place.
