A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACTOR AND AWARDING
A BID FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS
WHEREAS, the Cities of St. Anthony and Columbia Heights have agreed on the need
for traffic signal lights to be installed at 39th Avenue NE and Stinson
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of St. Anthony and Columbia Heights are responsible for half the
cost of the signal work; and
WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Heights called for and received bids for the project;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Heights has recommended Ridgedale Electric of
Long Lake, Minnesota, at a cost of $154,700.00 for the entire project,
• including the City of St. Anthony's part (half of $116,000 - $58,000 - for
the traffic signals on 39th Avenue NE and Stinson Boulevard).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St.
Anthony hereby approves Ridgedale Electric of Long Lake, Minnesota, to install traffic
signals at 39th Avenue NE and Stinson Boulevard on behalf of the City of St. Anthony.
