RESOLUTION 97-018
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE FIVE
HOMES RELATING TO STORM WATER MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, due to the severe structural damage caused by the July 1, 1997 rain storms,
the St. Anthony City Council created a Storm Water Management Task
Force to address these problem areas; and
WHEREAS, in addition, the St. Anthony City Council directed the engineering firm of
WSB, Inc. to assist in the process by providing studies, analyses, and
reports to the Task Force and City Council; and
WHEREAS, said studies, analyses and reports were submitted to the Task Force; the
Task Force then made its recommendations to the City Council; and, the
City Council accepted the resultant report of the Task Force.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St.
• Anthony hereby authorizes the City Manager to proceed with negotiations for the
purchase of five homes, contingent upon outside funding, as recommended by the Storm
Water Management Task Force.
