RESOLUTION 98-050
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF TWO
PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICERS
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Police Department has requested authorization to hire
two part-time Community Service Officers (CSO's) to handle non-police duties,
i.e., animal complaints, traffic control, etc., thereby allowing full time police
officers time for patrol, problem solving, creating community partnerships, etc.;
and
WHEREAS, a federal grant is being sought to help defray City costs for the CSO's.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
hereby authorizes the St. Anthony Police Department to hire two part-time Community Service
Officers.
