RESOLUTION 98-081
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SAINT ANTHONY
VILLAGE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of St. Anthony was prepared by
BRW, Inc. to serve as an update to the original plan, prepared in 1979; and
WHEREAS, the 1979 plan has served as a guide to development and redevelopment within
the City, and the update will serve as a guide for the next two decades; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Update has a twofold purpose - to protect and enhance
the community's strong attributes, and, to manage the community's change and
evolution; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Update was reviewed by a Comprehensive Plan Task
Force (representatives from the City Council, Planning Commission, School
• district, community organizations and interested citizens), adjacent communities
and received final approval from the Metropolitan Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
hereby approves the Saint Anthony Village Comprehensive Plan, as presented by BRW, Inc.
