ANTHONY RESOLUTION 99-015 A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR 1999 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, a proposed assessment of the cost of the following improvements has been prepared: 1999 Street and Utility Improvements Project 1. Wilson Street, from 27`h Avenue NE to 29`h Avenue NE 2. Pahl Avenue, from Wilson Street to Coolidge Street 3. Alley: Wilson Street to Coolidge Street (south of Murray Avenue) 4. Alley: Wilson Street to Coolidge Street (south of Pahl Avenue) 5. Alley: Wilson Street to Coolidge Street (south of St. Anthony Boulevard) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of February, 1999, in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than 10 days prior to the hearing. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Clerk, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by November 14th of the assessed year. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the Finance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to • December of the year in which such payment is made.
