COUNCIL MINUTES
WORK SESSION
February 26 , 1979
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Mayor Haik.
Present: Haik, Sauer, Sundland, Letourneau and Ranallo
Also present: Fornell, City Manager
Hickerson, Chief of Police
The Council interviewed Ed Hance; Bill Collins and Ralph Palmer; Virgil
Herrick; and Bill Soth, Steve Wolgamot, and George Eck for the City's
prosecution and general municipal corporation work. Discussion centered
around services which the firms can provide, their experience, the cost
of services and various facets of the prosecution work. Various approaches
to plea bargaining and communications between the police officers and the
prosecuting attorney were emphasized.
• The Council decided to retain the Dorsey firm for the prosecution and
general municipal corporation work throughthe end of 1979 . The possibility
of a future change was left open, however.
The meeting was adjourned at 10 :15 p.m.
