COUNCIL MINUTES
WORK SESSION
March 15 , 1979
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 35 p.m. by Mayor Haik.
Present: Haik, Sauer, Ranallo, Letourneau and Sundland.
Also present: Fornell, City Manager
Hickerson, Chief of Police
Members of the St. Anthony Police Department
The Council discussed a proposed police reserve with the staff members .
Discussion centered around the role of the reserve, training, recruitment,
vandalism, park problems , the cost of a reserve and crime prevention
activities . Several suggestions were made in dealing with problems and
in the use of volunteers , including law enforcement students.
The meeting was adjourned at 9 : 35 p.m.
