VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY
PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
June 16, 1970
1. The regular meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:35 o'clock P.M.
2. The following were present at roll call : Kronk, Parrill, Bratland, Englund,
Ondrey.
Absent : Mesenbring, Carlson
3. The minutes of the May 19, 1970 meeting were approved as submitted.
4. Ordinance variations
a. The sign request by Continental Oil Company was discussed with Mr.
Don Heisterkamp. Motion by Bratland, seconded by Kronk, to table this until
the July meeting and have the Safety Director view the corner and make a
recommendation to the Planning Board at the meeting.
Voting on the motion:
Aye: Parrill, Bratland, Kronk, Ondrey
Nay: Englund

b. Jim Stjernstrom of Richard Miller, Inc. requested a 1 ft. side yard
variance to construct a home at 3932 Macalester Drive. Motion by Bratland,
• seconded by Parrill, to recommend to the Council that a 1 ft. side yard
variance be approved on the south side of the house or 9 ft. from the lot line.
Motion carried.

9. Miscellaneous
a. Mr. Christiansen did not appear.
b. Mr. Taylor did not appear.
c No action was taken on letter from Comstock & Davis.
/ �• Richard Goblirsch appeared and requested permission to move a house
into the Village at 2517 35th Avenue N.E. The house is now located at 5516
Normandale Road and is 632 ft. wide. The lot that it is to be placed on is
100 ft. wide and 160 ft. deep. The house has shakes on it now but will be
refaced with brick after it is moved to its new location. The house meets
code regulations and will be subject to plumbing and electrical inspection by
village inspectors, and a time limit of 30 days to have it completed for
occupancy after it is moved onto the lot. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Parrill
• to recommend to the Council that the request to move this house into the
Village be approved.
Motion carried.
10. Motion by Bratland, seconded by Ondrey, to adjourn.
