ANTHONY PLANNING BOARD MINUTES April 20, 1971 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pro-Tem Bratland at 7:30 o'clock • P.M. 2. The following were present at roll call : Letourneau, Bratland, Parrill, Herman, Carlson, Kronk. Absent: Ondrey 3. The minutes of the March 16, 1971 meeting were approved as presented. 4. Public Hearings-None 5. Ordinance Variations-None 6. Zoning Variations a!_ Gordon Hedlund presented Mr. Davidson of Eberhardt Realty and a request / was made to convert the house at 3909 Silver Lake Road for use as an office for the Eberhardt Company. Motion by Parrill, seconded by Bratland, to hold a public hearing to grant a special use permit for this use. Voting on the motion: Aye : Parrill, Bratland, Carlson Nay: Kronk, Herman, Letourneau Motion not carried. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Herman, to table action on the request until the Nursing home issue is settled. Voting on the motion: Aye: Kronk, Herman, Letourneau Abstain: Bratland, Carlson, Parrill Motion carried. 7. Old Business-None • 8. Buildii Permits a/John Mezzenga presented plans for a warehouse and office building at 3813 Chandler Drive N.E. Motion by Parrill, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the plans for said building be approved. Motion carried. • t -2- b. 2-b. The proposed warming house for the hockey rink at Central Park was discussed. The Board recommends the following changes be made. 1. Replace skylight with a bubble. 2. Add one additional exit-entrance on the north side to eliminate skate • congestion traffic. 3. Design building so it can be used for summer activities such as baseball,tennis, etc. 4. Recreation Department be located in building. 5. Make office and storage area by changing structure of building. 6. Use exposed bar joists. 9. Misce aneous a. Discussed sign ordinance. 10.
