PLAMMING BOARD MIMUTES
October 17, 1972
Planning ^oard meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman 9ratland.
The following were present at roll call : 9ratland, ',Cronk, Letourneau, Carlson
Ondrey and Parrill.
Absent: Grace McGinn
Minutes of the September 19th meeting were read and corrected as follows :
Page 1-Motion by Carlson, seconded by Kronk should be changed to "Motion by
Parrill , seconded by Kronk".
Page 4-top para. to read in the May votes: Ondrey voting "May".
Motion by Kronk, seconded by Parrill to approve.

McGinn arrived at 7:40 P.M.
Walter Websch appeared before the Planning '!oard with a final replatting
for a parcel of land on Stinson and 39th which is to be sold to Nnerican
Family Insurance for a drive-in claims office. Mr. 'luebsch presented the Plann-
ing Board with an architectural sketch of the plans for the building. The Board
considered the plans in detail . lir. Huebsch explained that a building permit
had been issued for a building of the type sketched but the plans as presented
• included some minor changes which the hoard felt would be allowable.
Motion by Ondrey, seconded by Kronk to approve final replatting of the parcel
and recomend approval by the Council.
Motion carried.
Mr. Letourneau reported on the Land Use Study as requested by the Council. Mr.
Letourneau indicated he had gathered data from Village employees regarding
additional needs for space, etc., and possible relocation or remodelling of
present Village structures.
Mr. Dratland and Mr. Letourneau indicated that the three purposes of the study
were: 1 . l-Jhat are best uses for remaining pieces of land in the Village?
2. What to do in regard to Village buildings, have we adequate space, best
location, etc.? 3. If the location and space of the Village offices is not
adequate, what do we do about it?
The Planning !'oard discussed in detail the data received by the study group
via questionnaires answered by Village employees. It was Mr. nratland's sugg-
estion that the Planning Board try to close up the study and go back to the
Council with some recommendations.
It vias decided by the ^oard informally that Mr. nratland, Mr. Kronk, Mr.
Letourneau and Mr. Parrill join with Jerry Dulgar to discuss the study and
formulate a recommendation to the Council based on that meeting.
