VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY
PANNING B%RD MInTES
January 16, 1973
Acting Chairman Donald Kronk called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Mrs. Carol Johnson, Village Clerk administered the oath of office to Mr.
Wil Johnson.
Roll Call: Members present were Parrill, Carlson, Kronk, Wil Johnson.
Mr. Parrill was nominated by Mr. Kronk for the Office of Chairman of St.
Anthony Village Planning Board. Nomination was seconded by Mr. Carlson.
Motion carried.
Mr. Parrill assumed the Chairmanship.
Mrs. McGinn arrived at 7:35 P.M.
Minutes of the previous meeting were submitted and the following corrections
were made.
Page 3, toward bottom of page, Mrs. Sue Hanson not Sue Olson;
P%ge 4, under McGinn's comments, strike the word "but".
Motion by Carlson, seconded by Kronk to approve as corrected.
Motion carried.
'Mr. Ruebon Johnson, architect and Mr. Phil Pfeilsticker, Vice President of
Leslie Paper appeared before the Planning Board requesting a sign variance for
Leslie Paper. Request is for a 50' variance for a sign on the front of the
building which includes a 7' x 14' "L" which would be steel enamel painted red
with spot light illumination. They presented the Planning Board with a de-
tailed drawing of the building and the sign and its size in relation to the
building.
The 13.�:.nn.ing Board discussed the request and felt the sign ordi.r%Uce waS not
intended i;o preclude a sign of this nature which is more a logo type display.
Motion by McGinn, seconded by Kronk to recommend �;o the Council approval of
this regvv c st for vara e.nce.
