VILIAGE OF ST. ANTHONY
PIANNING BOARD MINUTMS
February 20, 1973
The meeting was called to order by Donald Kronk at 7:30 P.M.
The following were present at roll call: Kronk, Ondrey, McGinn and Johnson.
Absent: Parrill, Letourneau, Carlson
Also present: Harry Lekson
Minutes of the last meeting were submitted.
Motion by McGinn, seconded by Johnson to approve as submitted.
Motion carried.
-Mr. Ken Letourneau of Buetow & Associates appeared before the Planning Board
and submitted plans showing landscape design for boulevards and specific
areas of St. Anthony Office Park.
Mr. Letourneau's first request was for consideration of a sign at the entrance
of St. Anthony Office Park with a listing underneath of the companies which
occupy the park.
IS
His request was for a sign at the entrance five or six feet off the ground.-
sign to be 6 or 7,feet high and 20 feet long facing County Rd C. The intent
of the sign was both advertising and identification.
Wil Johnson suggested a sign identifying the part at the entrance but that a
listing of companies be inside the park itself and out of the traffic flow.
This suggestion was discussed in depth by the Planning Board and Mr. Letourneau.
The informal decision of the Planning Board was that Mr. Letourneau prepare a
recommendation as outlined by Wil Johnson for a sign outside the park "St.
Anthony Office Park" with an additional sign inside the park listing the
companies in the park.
Mr. Letourneau's second request was for approval of a detailed landscaping
plan and planting schedule for Leslie Paper Company.
The plan as presented was discussed in detail by the Planning Board. The
general feeling of the Planning Board was that the landscaping appeared rather
skimpy for the expanse of the Leslie Paper Building.
Mr. Letourneau of the Planning Board arrived at 8:15 P.M.
Motion by Ondrey, seconded by Johnson to approve landscaping plan as far as the
selection of the trees in the plan with the spacing, type and size of trees
designated with the understanding that the area from the building to the curb
will be sodded and maintained by the individual tenants.
Motion carried.
