I am calling a Special Meeting in accordance with City Ordinance Chapter 2, 200.01, Subd 2.
The time will be 7:00 PM, Monday July 26th, 2005 in the council chambers with the purpose of the meeting being:
Community Policing.
The 2 recent crimes need to be addressed in a public forum to reduce rumor and innuendo and strengthen the bound
between the residents and police department.

Legislators are currently reviewing the 8:00 pm closing law for liquor stores in Hennepin and
Ramsey Counties. This law requires liquor stores in those counties to close at 8:00 pm on
Monday through Thursday. Our stores are located in Hennepin and Ramsey counties and must
close at 8:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. The new law would allow all liquor stores to
remain open until 10:00 pm.
39. Would you favor or oppose the extension of liquor store operating hours to 10:00 pm?
