Commissioner Enrooth suggested that the City offer the owner

$40,000. It was noted that there is a similar sized home

the area and both of these homes change the character of
the

neighborhood.

The H.R.A. attorney advised that this acquisition could

Motion by Ranallo; second by Fleming to direct the H.R.A.
Executive Director to offer $42,000 for the home located on
Silver Lake Road at Townview.
Motion carried unanimously
The Executive Director cautioned that some neighbors in the
area may request the H.R.A. to buy other rundown properties.
He noted that there is one located in the south end of the - --
City which the H.R.A. may want to look at eventually for
acquisition.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to adjourn the H.R.A.
Meeting at 8:45 p.m.
