AUTUMN WOODS PROJECT - RESIDENT COMMENTS
Dennis Cavanaugh, a St. Anthony resident, stated he had been observing the
Autumn Woods project as it is being constructed. He stated that there are
some parts of the project that appear to be poorly and carelessly constructed
and he noted that inferior quality materials are in evidence.
Cavanaugh questioned if this project, during the construction process, had
been inspected as he found any accountability to standards being met very
elusive. He noted this development is located in the same area as two other
developments which are quality built and virtually maintenance free.
Councilmember Makowske advised she had visited two other projects built by
the developer of Autumn Woods and they appeared to be well managed.
Cavanaugh again stated his concerns regarding construction quality and long
term maintenance. He was advised to contact the City's Public Works Director
regarding an on-site viewing of the development. Members of the Council noted
they will follow up on his concerns also.
