ANTHONY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MEETING OF OCTOBER 10, 1989 Mayor Sundland called the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Meeting to order at 10:10 p.m.. ROLL CALL Marks, Ranallo, Enrooth, Makowske, Sundland - present APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 26, 1989 HRA MINUTES Motion by Ranallo, second by Marks to approve the September 26, 1989 minutes of the HRA as submitted. Motion carried unanimously CLAIMS A. Dorsey E Whitney Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve payment of $654.50 to Dorsey b Whitney for legal services rendered from August 1, 1989 through August 31, 1989 to the HRA. Motion carried unanimously B. Munn Blacktop, Inc. Motion by Makowske, second by Enrooth to approve payment of $10,000 to Munn Blacktop, Inc. Motion carried unanimously AUTUMN WOODS PROJECT - RESIDENT COMMENTS Dennis Cavanaugh, a St. Anthony resident, stated he had been observing the Autumn Woods project as it is being constructed. He stated that there are some parts of the project that appear to be poorly and carelessly constructed and he noted that inferior quality materials are in evidence. Cavanaugh questioned if this project, during the construction process, had been inspected as he found any accountability to standards being met very elusive. He noted this development is located in the same area as two other developments which are quality built and virtually maintenance free. Councilmember Makowske advised she had visited two other projects built by the developer of Autumn Woods and they appeared to be well managed. Cavanaugh again stated his concerns regarding construction quality and long term maintenance. He was advised to contact the City's Public Works Director regarding an on-site viewing of the development. It will resume in the spring.
