• HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES
February 26, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sundland at 9:11 P.M.
Present for roll call: Sundland, Vice Chair Enrooth, Secretary/Treasurer Marks,
and Commissioners Ranallo and Makowske.
Also in attendance: David Childs, Executive Director; William Soth, Attorney;
and Steve Yurick of Arkell Development Corporation, Developer.
Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to approve
as submitted the minutes of the H.R.A. meeting held February 12, 1985.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Commissioner Makowske and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to approve payment
of $1,500 to Doty & Sons, Inc., for the demolition of the G and G Body Shop for
Phase I of the Kenzie Terrace Redevelopment Project.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to approve
payment of $4,972.75 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal services related to the Walbon
• and Kenzington projects during January, 1985.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Vice Chair Enrooth and seconded by Commissioner Makowske to approve pay-
ment of $952 to Title Services, Inc. for title insurance for the Walbon property.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Executive Director gave estimates of the costs of relocating the businesses and
residences on the Walbon property. He said Hyman Trucking had found a new location
and might be able to move their business by March 1st rather than May lst, as had
been anticipated.
Motion by Commissioner Ranallo and seconded by Secretary/Treasurer Marks to authorize
the execution of the contract with Federal -State Relocation Consulting Services,
Inc. for consulting services on the Old Highway 8 Redevelopment Project.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Commissioner Ranallo and seconded by Chairman Sundland to adourn the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting at 9:15 P.M.
Motion carried unanimously.
