ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 16 -067 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND APPURTENANT WORK INCLUDING THE REHABILITATION OF THE GROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Bid Gridor Construction, Inc. $6,614,700.00 Rice Lake Construction Group $6,652,700.00 Municipal Builders, Inc. $6,704,500.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Gridor Construction, Inc. of Buffalo, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Gridor Construction, Inc. in the amount of $6,614,700.00 in the name of the City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The Engineer, WSB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
