RESOLUTION 16 -078
A RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE
HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony Village City Council has formally approved the construction
documents and authorized the solicitation of public bids for the above noted project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for
the above - referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bid was received complying with the advertisement:
Contractor Total Bid
Concrete Idea, Inc. $1,442,427.00
TI -ZACK Concrete, Inc. $1,487,362.18
Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $1,746,788.95
R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. $1,794,389.97
WHEREAS, this bid is 60.82% above the Engineer's estimate and project budget for said work;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village,
that the City of St. Anthony Village does hereby reject all bids for the Highway
Safety Improvement Program Project.
