RESOLUTION 17 -003
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2017 — 2020 HENNEPIN COUNTY
RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING SCORE GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Hennepin County distributes 100% of its SCORE funds to participating and eligible
cities; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County will dedicate funds for curbside recycling and curbside organics
recycling,; and
WHEREAS, the funds are used for the City's waste reduction and recycling capital and operating
expenses; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County and the City of St. Anthony will be entering into a four -year
Residential Recycling Grant Agreement commencing on January 1, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the County Board adopted the Hennepin County Residential Recycling Funding
Policy on November 29, 2016 for the period of January 1, 2017, through December
31, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
hereby approves and submits two copies of the executed Residential Recycling Grant Agreement
for the period of January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020.
