RESOLUTION 17 -055
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO TERMINATION OF CONTRACT AGREEMENT
FOR POLICE SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY AND THE CITY
OF FALCON HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony ( "St. Anthony ") has a Contract Agreement for Police
Services, dated July 22, 2014 ( "Contract') to provide police services to the City
of Falcon Heights ( "Falcon Heights "); and
WHEREAS, the Contract continues until December 31, 2019, unless terminated according to
its terms; and
WHEREAS, the Contract may be terminated by St. Anthony by providing written notification
to terminate to the Falcon Heights City Administrator by July 15 of a given year;
and
WHEREAS, St. Anthony desires to terminate the Contract, in accordance with the Contract
terms, effective at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
Village as follows:
The City Manager of St. Anthony is directed to provide written notification, pursuant to Section
XXI of the Contract, to the Falcon Heights City Administrator that St. Anthony will terminate
the Contract effective at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2017.
