ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 19 -032 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SILVER LAKE ROAD FLOOD REUCTION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvements as shown on the plan for the flood reduction improvements on Silver Lake Road from approximately 250 feet south of Silver Lane to approximately 600 feet north of Silver Lane, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Bid 1 Lametti and Sons, Inc. $667,870.00 2 G. F. Jedlicki, Inc. $728,895.00 3 New Look Contracting, Inc. $730,050.00 4 Rachel Contracting, Inc. $809,270.00 5 Minger Construction Companies, Inc. $821,520.89 6 Park Construction Company $931,533.50 7 Asphalt Surface Technologies (Astech) Corp. $1,017,277.20 WHEREAS, it appears that Lametti and Sons, Inc. of Hugo, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village approve such improvements as are hereby ordered in the Council Resolution. BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Lametti and Sons, Inc. in the amount of $667,870.00 in the name of the City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The Engineer, WSB, is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
