A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION FOR ORDINANCE 2019-08
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony has adopted the above referenced ordinance amending
Chapter 155 Signs; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subdivision 4 allows publication by title and summary in the
case of lengthy ordinances or those containing maps or charts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent
of Ordinance 2019-08.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: the following summary of Ordinance 2019-08 shall be
published in the official paper in lieu of the entire ordinance.

Ordinance 2019-08
An Ordinance Amending Chapter 155 Signs;
The City Council of the City of St. Anthony adopted Ordinance 2019-08 on September 10, 2019, this ordinance
amends Chapter 155 Signs as follows:
• Adds clarification to the definition of Dynamic Display Signs using LED as a lighting source
• Adds requirement for LED signs to adhere to Dynamic Display Sign Brightness
• Prohibits LED Banding

Adopted this 10th day of September, 2019.
