RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT AT THE UNOFFICIAL
ON DECEMBER 11, 2019
WHEREAS, The Unofficial has submitted an event proposal for an outdoor kiosk during the CP
Holiday Train on December 11, 2019. The event will include a tent with heaters,
music and outdoor food and alcohol; and
WHEREAS, the hours of the event will be 5:00pm-9:30pm with music beginning at 5:00pm and
ending when the train arrives, then resuming after the train leaves and concluding at
9:30pm; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has the authority to grant a holder of an on -sale liquor
license to serve alcohol off premises at a community festival with proof of liquor
liability insurance to cover the event; and
WHEREAS, The Unofficial will comply with the City of St. Anthony Police department's
recommendations on appropriate security for the event.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village approves
the request for The Unofficial to hold a special event on December 11, 2019 with the conditions
mentioned above.
