RESOLUTION 20-024
A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING
FOR THE 2020 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village, a report has
been prepared with reference to the improvements:
2020 Street and Utility Improvement Project
• Street & Utility Reconstruction
o 32nd Avenue NE from Rankin Road to Croft Drive
o Croft Drive from 32' d Avenue NE to 31 St Avenue NE
o Storm sewer connection on 31 St Avenue NE from Croft Drive to Old
Highway 8.
o Silver Lake Terrace from Silver Lane to the cul-de-sac
Silver Lane Mill and Overlay
• Silver Lane from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of
the improvements of $2,955,900.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 14th day of April
2020, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as
possible, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
improvements to be published twice in the official newspaper at least one week apart
and at least three days prior to the hearing.
