RESOLUTION 20-058
A RESOLUTION MODIFYING HOLIDAYS OBSERVED BY THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
• WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony currently has 12 observed holidays in which City Hall is
closed:
• New Year's Day — January 1
• Martin Luther King Day Observed — January
• President's Day Observed — February
• Good Friday Observed — March/April
• Memorial Day Observed — May
• Independence Day — July 4
• Labor Day Observed — September
• Columbus Day Observed — October
• Veteran's Day — November 11
• Thanksgiving Day Observed — November
• Friday following Thanksgiving — November
• Christmas Day — December 25
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to not formally recognize Good Friday and have City Hall
open; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to not formally recognize Columbus Day and have City
Hall open; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to formally recognize Juneteenth and have City Hall
closed on June 19th; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village
hereby modifies the observed holidays as stated above.
