ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 21-066 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRELIMINARY 2022 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2022 certified property tax levy and operating budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a work session reviewing the infrastructure improvement schedule and 2022 Debt Levy requirements on March 9th ; and an June 8`h work session to review the initial 2022 Budget and Property Tax Levy estimates: and an July 13`h public hearing to review and approve the 2022 overall Debt levy and future Road Improvement schedule. WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2022 property tax levy and general operation budget at the August 24, 2021, City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $559,345 based on sufficient funds; and WHEREAS, the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current law is modified; and WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the Tuesday, December 14, 2021, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1) The preliminary 2022 Property Tax Levy is: General Operating Levy $5,080,297 Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 308,200 Debt Service Levy $2,487,181 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 209,414 Building Improvement Levy $ 88,000 Infrastructure Levy $ 65,000 Park Improvement Levy $ 5,000 $8,243,092 2) The preliminary 2022 General Fund Operating Budget to s $7,994,029 Adopted this 14'h day of September, 2021.
