I am just finishing up my first two year term on the Planning Commission and wish to continue to serve our community.
During my first two years on the commission I have tried to lend my knowledge in working with regulations in the revising of
various ordinances, working with the commission and staff to hopefully bring more guidance and clarity to those needing to
work with the ordinances. With respect to building projects and requests for variances, with my votes and comments, I have
tried to balance the goal of bettering our community with individual property owner's rights.

I grew up coming to St. Anthony to visit my grandparents, Jerry and Pat Kelly. All of my aunts, uncles, and some of my
extended family grew up in St. Anthony as my grandpa owned and operated Jerry's Toys and Hobbies in the village shopping
center. My mother was a single parent and my grandparents watched my sister and I very often. As a result, I grew up feeling
as though St. Anthony was a second home to me. Flash forward to my adult years when my husband and I started looking for
our "forever home" - St. Anthony Village was an obvious choice. We have lived here for a little over a decade and I have
enjoyed getting to know the community better through my service as the Treasurer of the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce.
I am hoping to expand my service to the community through the Planning Commission. I thoroughly enjoy our community and
want it to be better for generations to come. I believe serving on the Planning Commission will allow me to have a voice in the
future of St. Anthony Village.
I have been a member, as well as the treasurer, of the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce since 2015. I am also a member of
the Finance Committee for Climate Generation which is a Minnesota-based non-profit that specializes in educating individuals
about climate change. Both have been very rewarding experiences!
