ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 21-094 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE FINAL 2022 TAX LEVY AND ADOPTING THE 2022 BUDGET DOCUMENT FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a final 2022 certified property tax levy and WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the January 2021, goal setting session; and March 9' work session reviewing existing infrastructure improvement schedule and 2022 Debt Levy; and a June 8a' work session to the initial 2022 Budget and Property Tax Levy estimates, public meetings were held August 24 h and September 10 for public input on the 2022 budget and property tax levy, the 2022-2038 Capital Improvement Budgets were reviewed at the October 12t° work session and approved at the October 26' Council meeting, WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $559,345 based on sufficient funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council held the required Truth in Taxation meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers, to discuss the 2022 budget and property tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony Village; and WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to determine a Final 2022 property tax levy has been collected NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1) The Final 2022 Property Tax Levy is: General Operating Levy $5,080,297 Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 308,200 Debt Service Levy $2,487,181 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 209,414 Building Improvement Levy $ 88,000 Infrastructure Levy $ 65,000 Park Improvement Levy $ 5,000 $8,243,092 2) The 2022 General Fund operating budget of $8,013,767 (based on 2022 General Fund expenditures) will be adopted as the final operating budget.
