RESOLUTION 22-079
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A JOINT AND COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE AND USE OF SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING
APPARATUS (SCBA)
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes local units of government to enter into Joint
and Cooperative Agreements of governmental powers common to the contracting
parties. The intent of this agreement is to make available purchased firefighting
self-contained breathing apparatus to the City of St. Anthony.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that:
1. The City of St. Anthony City Council does hereby approve the Joint and
Cooperative Agreement for the purchasing program of self-contained
breathing apparatus with the cities and fire departments from the Hennepin
County Fire Chiefs Association.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute said Joint and
Cooperative Agreement on behalf of the City of St. Anthony.
