A RESOLUTION SETTING THE FINAL 2024
TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
VILLAGE
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and
Ramsey Counties with a final 2024 certified property tax levy and operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council meeting on June 27' reviewing and then approving the infrastructure
improvement schedule and 2024 Debt Levy requirements; and at August 7' work session to
review the initial 2024 Budget and Property Tax Levy estimates.
WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2024 property tax levy and general
operation budget at the August 22, 2023, City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2012A (9405A) in the amount of 142,864.95 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 122,968.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2015A (9411) in the amount of 186,993.16 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 151,993.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2016A (9413) in the amount of 102,816.54 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 77,816.44 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2017A (9415A) in the amount of 68,985.00 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 0.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand to
cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2017A (9415C) in the amount of 193,752.85 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 168,752.20 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2017A (9415B) in the amount of 182,974.38 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 172,974.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2017A (9415C) in the amount of 129,780.00 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 69,780.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2018A (9416) in the amount of 178,467.75 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 168,467.75 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2019A (9417C) in the amount of 125,694.00 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 110,694.00 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2020A (9419A) in the amount of 232,806.84 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 102,806.84 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2021A (9420A) in the amount of 156,165.51 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 36,165.51 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the scheduled debt levy for Series 2021A (9420B) in the amount of 114,035.84 is cancelled
and will be levied at a reduced amount of 84,035.84 and there are sufficient funds on hand
to cover the debt service payment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held the required Truth in Taxation meeting on Tuesday, December 12,
2023, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers, to discuss the 2024 budget and property tax levy
with the residents of St. Anthony Village; and
WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to determine a Final 2024 property tax levy has
been collected
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1) The final 2024 Property Tax Levy is:
General Operating Levy $5,938,338
Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 368,200
Debt Service Levy $1,926,734
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 209,414
Building Improvement Levy $ 98,000
Infrastructure Levy $ 635,447
Park Improvement Levy $ 15,000
$9,191,133
2) The final 2024 General Fund Operating Budget totals $9,386,
Adopted this 120 day of December, 2023.
