RESOLUTION 24-051
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE
ECOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
AND APPROVING A RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT AND PARTNERSHIP PLEDGE WITH
HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, Hennepin County works with residents and partner organizations to protect and restore
habitat through conservation easements and habitat restoration projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village has identified Silver Point Park and Central Park as
meeting the requirements for a restoration project partnership with Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, staff created an Ecological Improvement Plan which was reviewed at the Saint Anthony
Village Parks & Environmental Committee on June 3, 2024 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City will enter into a Right of Entry Agreement and a Partnership Pledge with
Hennepin County to proceed with a partnership for a habitat restoration project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of St. Anthony Village that:
1) The City Council approves the Saint Anthony Ecological Improvement Plan, and
2) The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign a Right of Entry agreement and
Partnership Pledge with Hennepin County for a habitat restoration project on behalf of the City of
St. Anthony Village.
