RESOLUTION 25-020
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO PROCEED WITH A
PUBLIC SAFETY FACILTY EXPLORATION
WHEREAS, it has been determined the Saint Anthony Village Police and Fire facilities are in need of
updating and expansion of facilities to support current and future needs of the
departments, and;
WHEREAS, there has been a recommendation to evaluate the current Fire department site as a shared
public safety facility for both Fire and Police, and;
WHEREAS, the two factors of (1) the feasibility of constructing an expanded facility on that site and
(2) securing as much outside funding as possible, greatly impact the execution of this
recommendation, and;
WHEREAS, staff has received proposals from Oertel Architects to evaluate the proposed site and Fox
Advancement to evaluate supplemental funding opportunities to assess the option of this
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Anthony Village that the council
authorizes staff to proceed with the Oertel and Fox Advancement proposals and continue the public safety
facility exploration.
