RESOLUTION 25-055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY
VILLAGE APPROVING A COMBINATION OF LOTS AND WAIVING THE
REQUIREMENTS FOR PLATTING
WHEREAS, the owner of Parcel No. 06-029-23-110059 ("the house parcel") is an existing lot
of record in the City; and
WHEREAS, the owner has acquired Parcel No. 06-029-23-110116 (the vacant parcel"), a small
parcel of approximately 231 square feet, which lies directly east of and adjacent to
the house parcel; and
WHEREAS, the vacant parcel is of such size and configuration as to have no practical use or
purpose under applicable zoning or other rules or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the house parcel and vacant parcel desires to join the two parcels
into a single lot under a unified parcel identification number; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has authorized the combination of the two parcels for
administrative and property records purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City's subdivision ordinance provides for City Council approval of a waiver to
the otherwise required replatting process; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed waiver of process and combination are
consistent with the intent and requirements of the City's land use regulations;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Saint Anthony
Village, Minnesota approves the lot combination and waives the requirements for platting based
on a finding that the proposed lot combination is consistent with the requirements of Section
§153.08 of the Saint Anthony City Code.
